This post is nerdy as fuck. You have been warned.

Alternate thread title: words cannot express how much I am fucking done with what Moffat's done to Doctor Who (but I'll try anyway).

Series 8 is coming up, and for the first time, I'm not excited about new Doctor Who at all. From what I've heard, the first episode is going to involve the clockwork robots - aka, one of Moffat's creations from an old episode - aka, "remember that one okay episode I did one time? And you called me a genius? CALL ME A GENIUS AGAIN PLEASE."

You might remember this from certain lines of "every episode involving Weeping Angels after Blink ever." They were mildly scary in Blink, then just plain frustrating when we wanted to see other monsters once in a while. That's what you expect of Daleks, not "that one thing I made one time."

The show's not about the Doctor anymore. It's about catchphrases and self-referential ego-boosting for Moffat after having written one or two good episodes previously.

I mean, literally, this is how you write a Moffat episode:

:icon11thdoctorplz: Ah, earth, London, 17th-20th century. AKA somewhere we've never been ever. We're going to do a thing.
:iconriversongplz: Don't do the thing.
:icon11thdoctorplz: why not?
:iconriversongplz: I'm not going to tell you why in order to remain interesting and edgy.
:iconsilenceplz: Howdy, boys n' girls! Hope you like this line of dialogue in particular, because I'm going to repeat it 20 times throughout.
:icon11thdoctorplz: No, we're all gonna die and there's no way to stop it!
:iconclaraoswaldplz: We're all gonna die?!
:icon11thdoctorplz: What are you talking about, of course not! WIBBLY WOBBLY. See? I catchphrased it and now it's gone, don't be stupid!

Also, where the fuck is Rassilon? He was the reason that the Doctor had to destroy Gallifrey, but now Gallifrey's back because THE KIDS and suddenly everything's okay? No Ultimate Sanction? No megalomaniacal tyrant winning the popular vote?

Fuck me in the face with an abnormally large bag of beaver testicles, I hate what he's done.

TL;DR: Beaver testicles
So I discovered I have tinnitis. The way I discovered this was by waking up in the morning to the sound in one ear canal of a band saw getting stuck on a particularly dense ferret neckbone.

After my frail consciousness came to its shattered senses I discovered that in my room there are neither band saws nor doomed woodland creatures (save for Thaddeus, but his is a story for a different time).

Now I fear my ear canals are susceptible to this base condition and I look upon my future with preemptive regret and aversion toward band saws.

Not personal at all. That's definitely not me - I haven't made any new accounts of late.

Except on twitter :3 twitter.com/FangzorTheSnake

i have a question if i didn't ask you already. If you had to choose your favorite Thomas the tank engine story having the narrow gauge engines in it which would it be? and which narrator would you to prefer to tell it?

I'm not a rabid Thomas the Tank Engine fan, I just use it for parody. That being said, Ringo was the best narrator.

Yo.  A while back (okay, a year or two ago), you told me about a funny Winnie the Pooh book you wrote. It's been sitting on my to-read list for quiet some time now. I've decided I'm done waiting and wish to read it. But...I forgot the title. I am 90% certain I remember this as the book you linked me, but I just wanna be sure. Is this it?
